Derby Day Art & Photography Show
Brand New this Year!
This is a 2-D (Two Dimensional) art/photo competition that will be judged and then exhibited in conjunction with the Williamstown Derby Day festivities Saturday, May 7, 2010. It is for anyone who loves to express themselves artistically whether it be with pencil, ink, paint, pastel or with a camera! The show will be at 137 N. Main St., Williamstown (Timeless Treasures building)
- PRIZE MONEY AND RIBBONS AWARDED FOR EACH AGE GROUP!
- 1st place $25.00 & ribbon
- 2nd and 3rd and Honorable Mention ribbons
- Best of Show, Youth $50.00 & Rosette
- Best of Show, Adult $50.00 & Rosette
- Rules:
- 1. ORIGINAL WORK ONLY. No art made from kits.
- 2. 3 entries per person.
- 3. All entries must be matted or framed and ready to hang. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made for pieces without a way to hang on a wall, they will not be accepted.

- IMPORTANT DATES:
- MAY 2 - 4 from 10:ooam to 6:00 pm bring your entries to Lucas Art & Framing (at Lucas Pools bldg.) 155 S. Main Street, Dry Ridge, KY. (859) 824-3111 ask for Mary Lucas
- MAY 6 Show will be judged and hung at the show site, Timeless Treasures building 137 N. Main Street, Williamstown, KY. There will be two separate professional judges, one for art and one for photography
- MAY 7 OPEN to the public for viewing 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- MAY 7 Pick up your art between 5:00 and 6:30 at the show site. The Derby Day Art Show committee will not be responsible for any art left after 6:30.
